The Campaign Associate supports the day-to-day execution of advocacy campaigns that accelerate advanced energy deployment, working closely with the Campaign Manager to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality campaign materials and deliverables.
 
Description
Bantam Communications is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Campaign Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a central part in executing the day-to-day activities for our campaigns to expand advanced energy in the United States. The Campaign Associate will work closely with the Campaign Manager to execute advocacy campaigns and support efforts to shape the public conversation around advanced energy deployment. This associate-level role is ideal for someone passionate about renewable energy, politics, and communications who is eager to gain hands-on experience in issue advocacy and campaign strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support the Campaign Manager by coordinating cross-functional teams, planning campaign project workflows, and operationally executing best-in-class advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and community organizing campaigns
 - Manage day-to-day client and partner communications
 - Track campaign deliverables and ensure deadlines are met
 - Draft, edit, and quality control a range of communication materials, including memos, talking points, planning documents, as well as externally facing digital (social media and digital ads) and traditional media copy.
 - Coordinate project workflows and facilitate operational execution across Research, Strategy, Digital, and Community Affairs departments
 - Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of all campaign deliverables
 - Conduct quality assurance for all campaign outputs
 - Maintain and present regular campaign tracking reports and updates to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
 - Manage project time allocation, budgets, and timelines effectively
 - Provide scheduling and coordination support for internal and external meetings
 - Track campaign deliverables and activities in a project management tool
 
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of experience in campaigns, public affairs, public relations, or similar fields (internships, volunteer, or entry-level campaign/political experience a plus)
 - Excellent written and verbal communication
 - Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
 - Proven track record of managing multiple complex campaign projects simultaneously
 - Strong meeting facilitation skills, including ability to schedule, lead, and follow up on external and internal meetings, with strong follow-through on action items and deliverables
 - Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
 - Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday, Asana, Teamwork) is preferred but not required
 - Bachelor's degree, ideally in a relevant field
 - Strong alignment with Bantam's mission to accelerate renewable energy deployment; renewable energy background helpful but not required
 - Some travel required up to 20% of the time
 
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We do not sponsor work visas at this time.
Compensation
- This is a full-time, exempt position
 - The base annual salary hiring range for this position is $55,000 to $80,000
 - Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as (but not limited to) location, level, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
