Job Description:

The S.VP/ Director will play a key role in making and managing direct infrastructure investments on a principal basis within the renewable energy and energy storage sector. The individual will work with and assist the wider team in sourcing, evaluating, and executing infrastructure investments, with a focus on US, EU, Asia Pacific, and EMEA. Conducting research, execution of investments and monitoring, and managing infrastructure investment projects would be key responsibilities. The individual will provide essential support for the fundraising process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze, and perform due diligence on infrastructure investments, assessing financial performance, risks, management quality, and regulatory factors.

  • Build and test financial models, evaluate returns, and support valuation recommendations.

  • Engage with management teams, review strategies, and assist in presenting deals to investment committees.

  • Support investment execution, including collaboration with portfolio companies to drive performance.

  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify improvement initiatives, and assist in valuation reviews.

  • Contribute to fundraising efforts and mentor junior team members.

  • Participate in team meetings, share knowledge across regions, and support ad-hoc projects.


Qualifications

  • 10-15 years experience in infrastructure investments under investment banks, private equity funds, or consulting (ideally with renewable energy/battery storage (BESS) or utilities exposure).
  • Able to manage full investment cycle.
  • Experience in Fundraising would be an advantage.

  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism

  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure

  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in English is a must; Putonghua is an advantage
