- Location: Juneau, Alaska (99801)
- Healthcare Setting: Surgical Services / Operating Room (OR)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Nursing Shift: 10-hour days (varied shifts, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm; may include 3x12 hour shifts and on-call night shifts)
- Unit Size: 20 operating rooms
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2400–$2570
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association
- Moderate sedation and PACU experience preferred
- Proficient with computerized charting (Meditech)
OR RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive peri-operative nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Serve as the Circulating Registered Nurse, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
- Maintain professional nursing standards and ensure patient safety during surgical procedures
- Provide care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Train and mentor fellow nurses as needed
- Participate in on-call shifts as required
