  • About Ameren Services (B&CS)

    Ameren Services provides administrative support and services to Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries and affiliates. Ameren Services includes a wide range of skill sets and roles, from finance and legal experts to digital and cyber specialists, plus those charged with ensuring environmental compliance and operational safety. Together, we help execute a strategy that enables Ameren to deliver superior long-term value to customers, shareholders and the environment.

    Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and Senior Manager and Sustainability, Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Philanthropy leaders and teams, as a project/program facilitator, to ensure SDP and Energy Equity Solutions priorities and strategies are met. Track action plans and metrics and provide oversight on key initiatives to help drive accountability and achieve critical outcomes.
  • Proactively execute activities, provide support and collaborate with SDP and business line teams on initiatives and projects as assigned; collect and analyze data and information related to SDP and community facing corporate impact initiatives across Ameren.
  • Act as a liaison and develops relationships with internal and external stakeholders through Ameren Community Voices programming - track and advance actions resulting from advisory board meetings, workshops, subcommittee activities and other commitments outline in charters and Ameren ESG related policies.
  • Develops monthly and /or quarterly reports on SDP activities, budgets and KPIs including biweekly status reports for the leadership team discussions.
  • Prepare documentation for Board presentations, ELT discussions, and external meetings. Design and draft written, verbal, and visual content, documents, and presentation materials.
  • Analyze and interpret business intelligence information using a variety external and internal Ameren systems and the Microsoft Office Suite and provide performance insights and improvement recommendations; advocate for policies, programs and practices that drive optimal performance and accountability across Ameren.
  • Facilitates collaboration meetings to ensure projects are tracking to plan.
  • Coordinate engagements with community influencers to help broaden awareness of Ameren's intentional and authentic commitment to advancing a secure, sustainable, and equitable energy future.


  • Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree required from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Engineering, Environmental, Sustainability, Sociology, or relevant field. Five or more years of experience in energy, climate, housing, policy, or business required. Experience with social services and government-based programs, structures or compliance preferred. Previous project, supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

    In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

    Creative and critical thinker and problem solver. Strong decision-making, strategic thinking, and planning skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to take initiative, collaborate and lead. Strong business acumen and ability to see the big picture. Strong project and program management skills. Experience in visual communications (PowerPoint required), with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal, and presentation skills and proven ability to build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong knowledge of budgeting, research, and report writing. Demonstrates strong leadership and management capabilities. Good time management and organizational skills. Technical requirements: Advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint. Preferences: Proficiency with Ameren platforms and applications (Power BI CSS, CRM); experience in the energy industry, experience with responding to grant opportunities, designing, and implementing community programs and community benefits plans; proven experience in a management role (people, program, project). Knowledge of social and digital media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
