Job Summary

The Nextracker - Applications Engineer PV Integration will be based in Shanghai, China. This position is to follow NX Spec and support NX teams to drive and validate compatibility with Nextracker , be responsible for module related test, management of laboratory related matters and summary of relevant data. This position will report to the PV Module Technical Product Manager in Shanghai, fully support NX module team internal management to better serve sales, marketing, and product departments. What a typical day looks like:

Manage Form-Fit Function tests accordingly (including data collection and report generating)

Manage loading tests of various PV module / tracker product combinations as required (including data collection and report generating)

Travel to PV module manufacturers and 3rd party testing facilities as required

NX Test Laboratory management and operation

Module related document (Test guide/3rd party report) and test tracking sheet (loading test / FFF test / project specific related test) recording

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

One year of photovoltaic related industry experience or outstanding graduates in relevant field.

Familiar with relevant test standards of IEC/UL 61215&61730

Master the principle and operation of basic test equipment and tools

Experience of laboratory inventory and operation management

Familiar with CAD/Solid works

Expecting basic ability of technical writing in English

Self-motivated, independent, technical aptitude and excellent interpersonal skills

Comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere with a rapidly expanding customer base and product offering

Proven ability to follow orders from management team and solve complex problems during all tests
